Who are we?
Time for a little bit about who we are.
My name is Pete, the owner of P & A Haulage Ltd. I started off in this industry about 7 years ago working weekends for one of Swndon's premier grab companys, over the next 7 years I did more amd more within the business and worked my self up to General Manager who was also trainging to be a qualified Transport Manager. But as the start of 2024 the owners deceided to close and move on to new things so with their blessing I brought one of their trucks and offered one of their drivers a job and P & A Haulage was born. Even though we are a realativly new company we come with a wealth of experiance.
Our Trucks
We currently have 2 grab trucks, both of our vehciles are the larger 8 wheeler vehicles. A DAF CF85 and a Volvo FMX.
Both of them are equipped with Epsilon M125 cranes and have about a 8 metre reach from the centre of the vehice.
The levers for operazting the cranes are operated from the passenger side if the vehicle, for this reason when we arriave at site if the material to be removed is not visable the driver will get out the vohicle and come find the material to work out if we need to drive in or reverse in.
